We are located 5 minutes west of Richmond's Short Pump, just 1.8 miles west of Route 288 in Goochland County.

Manakin Market – Outdoor seasonal farmers market runs every Saturday for 26 weeks from May-Oct, with an Annual Holiday Farm & Craft Market the first Saturday in December. Programs at the market include:• Free weekly children’s activities with a food or agricultural theme• Free live music each week• Chef at the Market chef’s demo’s• Food Preservation programs.• Other programs centered around the market’s weekly them, such as pet adoptions, square dancing, yoga, fire safety, etc.• Marketeers Club program allows children aged 6-16 to participate as vendors on the last Saturday of each month to sell what they have grown or made themselves • SNAP IT UP! Double Value SNAP (food stamp) program


Our farmers markets are operated by RVAg, Inc., a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization run by paid staff and governed by an all-volunteer board. Our markets operate without any county or federal funding. We rely solely on vendors fees, sponsorships and fundraising efforts to run our seasonal and pop-up markets and low cost/no-cost educational programs.
